Cameron Lavender, Malaysia~ * LAVENDER GARDEN *

Good Morning everyone.

I'm going for a short weekend trip to Cameron Highland~
this is just a random plan because nowadays the weather is getting warmer, and in a sudden i have a thought of going somewhere is chilling.
and there is it, Cameron Highland~
to be honest, this is my first time since i was settled in Penisula Malaysia for 5 years, due to various reason, i have no opportunity to visit here.

It is not difficult to go there, by driving from Alor Star,Kedah.
We drove along the PLUS ( South North highway) and also referring to the roadside signboard.
what we know is, we must reach Ipoh first, then Simpang Pulai, and we saw the direction to Cameron highland.

Before that, we booked cheap budget guesthouse through Agoda .com.my as usual.
there is lots of hotel, guesthouse, homestay with various classes and prices.
you can stay at Tanah Rata ( most of the administration center here eg, Police station, hospital etc )
or Brinchang ( where most of the attractions are around or nearby by walking distance eg, Night market, strawberry farm etc )

About food, here, most of the restaurant food prices is a bit higher than Ipoh, but still, there is some nice cheap acceptable restaurant and cafe everywhere.

the road to Cameron highland is a bit very narrow and Curvy like a snake, but yet, drive careful should be fine.

so, we driving up the hill now~
the easiest thing to remember ( how i remember the main attraction place ),
Ipoh-before reach blue valley, take a turn to the road at your right-Kuala Terla-Tringkap-Kea farm- Brinchang- Tanah Rata.

In between, Kuala Terla and Tringkap, this is my first stop.

1. The beautiful Lavender garden- Cameron Lavender

i always wanted to go to such garden which i always saw in the postcard from oversea.
well,of course, you cant compare this to that.

but, in Malaysia for Malaysian, we still excited to see a smaller scale of it available in Cameron highland.
visit here during weekday is much more better than weekend, because i can fully enjoy walking around, looking around, taking photos as much as i want without keep on saying 'excuse me' and 'sorry' and of course, for parking slot as well.

time- 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM
ticket price- adult is RM 5

come for a relax walk is not a bad idea.
this garden is not a huge area, the main attraction lavender garden is quite small than i expected.
you can walk up to a slight steep pathway to the top to see the view, their main office in a castle building, strawberry farm, flowers..etc

From the exterior, you can see their huge logo and this decoration.

Overall, the how the exterior look like.

the wall full with colourful beautiful flowers~

i think this is not the true lavender, it is another kind of lavender i guess.

the other flowers that make the wonderful colour combination look like the one i saw in postcard from oversea Western countries.

taking photo with one of their car decoration.
opposite to this car, they sell ice cream in lavender flavoured ?? for rm 7.90.

You will somehow pass by the lover corner , to make a wish, i think you need to buy something like a love shaped paper from them. Then, write down your wishes and drop to this following letter box based on what you wish for.

also available in the lock pattern.

is this the true lavender ??

here, have some cute cupid statues decoration playing instrument.

on the way up to the slightly steep pathway

their office in castle building, look like fairy tail cartoon.

Part of the garden, Strawberry farm.

The Gerbera section, you can choose which flowers that you like, and ask the staff to pluck for you. One flower is RM 2.

maybe is weekday, quite lots of the shops are closed.
but this, their main shop selling everything about Lavender will be open all the time.
and this is their decoration beside the main door.

love the purplish feeling~

For more information, why don't you check on their main official website~

thank you~
